Our Client has an urgent need for several Tier I Lab Engineers to provide hardware support for their growing team. In this job you will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative services in support of the production-computing (or non-production-computing) environment. This entails managing and providing operational support for various elements within the environment, such as network accounts (users, groups, distribution lists, and so on) and network resources (servers, printers, storage devices etc).

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance to and work in concert with other service management functions by providing basic monitoring services
  • Provide first level performance and capacity monitoring for the service monitoring and control function
  • Instal, support, and maintain servers or other computer systems, and plan for and respond to service outages and other problems
  • Script or light programming, project management for systems-related projects, supervise or train computer operators, and be a consultant for computer problems beyond the knowledge of technical support staff
  • 4 years of Windows Server experience
  • 3 years in application monitoring support role
  • 3 years in hardware support role
  • 2 years in IIS or SQL support role
  • 3 years of customer relations experience
  • MOM, Excel and trouble ticket reporting skills

Certifications
  • MCSA 2003/ 2008 Certification
  • MCSE Certification
  • MCP Certification
  • A+ Certification
