We are currently seeking a Timekeeping and Civilian Personnel Coordinator for the Frederick, MD area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ATAAPS Timekeeping and Civilian Personnel Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Human Resources Office. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Additional responsibilities follow:

Payroll: Civilian payroll processes and use of electronic systems such as GFEBS, ATAAPS, DCPS, and Remedy.

In-/Out-Processing civilians and contractors: Ability to follow procedures and experience using Oracle. Update and maintain the Human Resource Oracle database.

Human Resources: Knowledge of Human Resources functions to include staffing procedures (recruitment, performance management, etc.). Experience using CPOL, DCPDS, FASCLASS, and BoXi.

Liaison: Coordinate with Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC), Medical Research & Materiel Command (MRMC), Army Benefits Center (ABC), and Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) to ensure customer service needs are met and personnel actions completed.

Computer skills: Ability to query information systems for data collection. Intermediate experience with PowerPoint to develop informational slides. Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and presentations.

Awards: Advise, track, process, and maintain all civilian awards.

Correspondence: Prepare, edit, and review correspondence in accordance with Army and local regulations (AR 25-50, DA Memo 25-52 and other references/guidance provided).

Clerical support: Provide other clerical and administrative support to include scheduling meetings/conference rooms, travel arrangements/vouchers, and distribution of mail, as needed.

Training: Complete required trainings.

Maintain secret level clearance.

Maintain a safe workplace ensuring that he/she is aware of and observes appropriate safety and occupational health rules and regulations. Employee is required to attend safety training relative to his/her position and report any infractions of safety procedures to the facility Safety Officer.

Performs light duties and other related duties as required and assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience

High School Diploma, B.S. degree preferred

U.S. citizen

Ability to perform independently with minimal direction

Must be able to work independently following a brief period of specific technical training

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Applicants will be subject to a National Agency Check and Local Agency Check (NACLAC).
