This position is located at the Raleigh Window within the Title and License Unit. This position will supervise and clear problem work with employees, document & evaluate work performance, assign duties, counsel & discipline employees, train employees, maintain daily reports & respond to telephone inquiries. This position will maintain an accessible filing system for memos, laws, rules & regulations needed for clearing work with employees & customers. Position will balance a cash drawer, deposit funds, refunds & fee adjustments. This position may have to work flexible hours due to assisting customers and/or employees with problem work at the last minute & closing the office; including pulling the daily fiscal totals & daily category sheets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies:

Management prefers supervisory experience & experience dealing with the public in person and by telephone. Must have the ability to compose & type letters. Applicant must enforce rules & regulations and have the ability to interpret, explain & apply information verbally & in written form. Applicant must have the ability to operate a personal computer & other office equipment and the ability to create & maintain records/files.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in business administration or a related discipline from an appropriately accredited institution; or graduation from high school and three years of administrative or paraprofessional experience examining and evaluating motor vehicle title documents or legal documents for accuracy or validity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
