The Tools Developer will be responsible for creating reports and tools for our marketing teams (Affiliate, Search Engine Marketing, Ad-Buy, Sales) as well as external customers such as affiliate webmasters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Attend project meetings to discuss project specs and set timeline
  • Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Confer with project managers and/or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions
  • Develop and manage tools and reports for web analytics, user-based data, and transactional data
  • Design and write new code and modify existing code
  • Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards
  • Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction
  • Review bugs and debug assigned bugs from manager/project manager
  • Track progress on all bugs and projects using bug-tracking and project-management systems
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner
  • Be on-call and respond to after-hour issues
  • BS/BA Computer Science or Math preferred, but not required
  • Experience with MySQL or similar relational database systems
  • PERL development experience preferred
  • Two or more years’ experience in programming
  • Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of honesty and integrity
  • Deadline-oriented and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
  • Must be at least 21 years old or older
  • Must be comfortable with adult content
