A Leading Global Proprietary Trading House operating in a high frequency environment is seeking a strong experienced software developer to maintain and enhance their in house trading systems. A successful candidate must make an evident and significant contribution to the team profitability.
Requirements of a candidate are expanding trading potential of the proprietary trading house within the global market. To maintain and enhance the high frequency- low latency algorithmic trading platform with C++ and Python Scripting. Potentially, travelling to the New York proprietary division. Working in simultaneous cohesion with traders and developers with the focus to implement trade models to the existing architecture. Candidate must have a simultaneous ability to deliver results both as an individual and an essential part of a team. Deliver operational backing during European and Asian market hours.
Qualifications of a successful candidate must have strong proven knowledge of C++ including templates, STL, C++ Design patterns and smart pointers. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of Scripting Python, developing modules, maintainable coding enhancements.
Candidate must have proven experience in creating maintainable efficient interfaces for other developers to use with C++ and python Scripting languages. Candidates must have strong problem-solving experience whilst presenting the aptitude to managing and prioritize several projects in a demanding, high frequency environment. Candidate should have excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and identify the routes of current and potential problems in complex systems with minimal guidance. Candidates must have the capacity to work simultaneously well, both independently and cohesively within a team in fast paced and demanding environments. Candidates should also have proven in-depth experience with high-performance distributed systems, including lock-free data structures, multi-threading, cache line optimization and TCP/UDP.
Further experience of Scripting languages such as Python are a brilliant addition to the success of potential candidates especially Bjam and CDT. Along with previous experience in creation, storage and analysis of large non-uniform data sets.
