Tower Research Capital LLC, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Trading Systems Support Analyst to provide support for our production systems. The firm successfully trades a number of different strategies in a variety of markets. We have an extremely high-performance network that processes a vast amount of financial information in real time. The team here is composed of a talented group of quantitative financial analysts and programmers.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Trading Systems Support team, you will manage the widely-deployed OMS and market data delivery systems involving every major electronic exchange and asset class. Your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with traders to understand their needs
Solving problems by providing timely level one and level two support for our production systems
Contributing to the design and implementation of the support system to enhance reliability and self-correction
Devising ways to architect and develop solutions
Monitoring and reporting on the status and health of our systems
Serving as the primary technical contact for brokers and exchanges
Providing periodic after-hours coverage
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the finance industry along with:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field
Strong skills in Perl, Python, and Bash or shell
Knowledge of Linux
Knowledge of SQL and the use of databases
Strong problem-solving abilities
The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
The willingness to take on tasks both big and small
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
