Reporting to the Eagle Pass Warehouse Site Supervisor, the Traffic Clerk is responsible for those operations involved with the transportation of goods to national and international customers including routing and carrier selection, and making sure to close the entire process to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Ensures that all shipping documents and functions are completed accurately and timely. Completes all required documentation for the transportation of goods including, but not limited to, Bills of Lading, Country of Origin Certificates, Non-Wooden Certificates, Shipment Letters of Instructions, Post Good Issue, Requests for Pickup Appointments, Quotations, NAFTA's, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Slips. Gather and maintain all data records related to shipping activities. Researches and/or resolves shipping discrepancies. Performs data entry activities from source documents with the operator responsible for the accuracy of the data entered. Generates various departmental reports. Contacts carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, and supplies the requested information. Responds timely to communications from departments, vendors, or other customers regarding delivery modifications. transmits ASN's making sure information is correctly received by customers by means of monitoring the status into the customer's portals. Monitors the completion of all daily deliveries. Runs on a daily basis the appropriate queries to ensure PGI's, ASN's, and other similar activities are completed successfully.

High school education or equivalent experience required.
Competency of speaking, reading, writing, and simple mathematics.
Communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.
Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
Previous experience with shipping operations preferred, but not required.
Previous SAP experience helpful.
