BOS is currently seeking a qualified Trainer for our Grand Prairie, Texas location. The Trainer is responsible for providing BOS Solutions employees with world class job skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Conduct classroom and hands-on training (i.e., electrical, feed pump, centrifuge, BOS Tank, generator, BOS MIXA, Grinder, De-watering, Rig in/rig out, invert recovery, barite recovery, environment/spill management, floc water drilling, conventional solids control, etc.)

· Provide constructive feedback and report competencies to Training Manager

· Serve as subject-matter expert in the development, implementation and evaluation of curricula

· Transport trainees as required

· Add value to the Training department through questions and suggestions for improvement

· Maintain records of training events

· Demonstrate proficiency in administering training need assessments, analyzing organizational challenges and developing organizational solutions that have measurable impact on addressing performance gaps and problems

· Ensure information provided to trainees is accurate, consistent and delivered within prescribed protocols

· Manage and maintain multiple concurrent tasks while updating Training Manager of areas that need attention

· Assist in measuring the accuracy, comprehension and effectiveness of training sessions

· Provide on-going process of collecting feedback, monitoring and assessing the training needs to identify procedural/protocol deficiencies and provide refresher training

· Participate in implementing strategies to track & communicate the success of training efforts

· Participate in development & implementation of tests related to the training program

· Track test scores & follows up with trainees after test, providing correct answers and instruction

· Any other duties as required by manager

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

· Ability to instruct trainees at all levels and serve as an advisor to others

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written

· Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

· Organizational skills with attention to detail

· Ability to work weekends as required

· Proficient in conflict resolution, group interaction & team building

· Previous experience as a supervisor preferred

· Previous experience in curriculum development and/or training preferred

· Certified H2S Safety, Confined Space Entry and Fall Protection (or the ability to become certified)

· 2+ years training Field Technicians in the oil and gas sector with time spent on land rigs (One of those yrs. In solids control preferred)
