As a Trainer for Community Health Center, you will:
  • Train users on software applications at all levels of the organization and all CHC site locations
  • Be responsible for group and individual training sessions to include technical training and delivery, coaching, training administration, assessment of competencies, documentation and instructional design
  • Training delivery to all levels of the organization
  • Administration of training including preparation, set-up and scheduling
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications, possess MOS and/or Master MOS certifications
  • One on one coaching on all Microsoft Office applications and other software applications used by the organization.
  • Assess departmental MS Office training needs and develop MS Office training materials and courses as needed.
  • Collaborate with training and human resources groups to provide New Hire Technical Training. Collaborate with all departments to determine other application training needs
  • Ability to learn new applications acquired
  • Travel to each CHC location to conduct group or individual training sessions
  • Responsible for ongoing assessment of user competence, reviews samplings regularly for errors/conformity with CHC policies
  • Establish a set calendar for training schedule
  • Understands and ensures compliance with joint commission standards on management of clinical information

Additional Specifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Three years experience as a trainer or educator
  • Experience providing MS Office end-user training
  • Ability to assess and learn a variety of new software systems and applications
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate in team environment with all levels of staff
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
  • Ability to prioritize in dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to present clear learning objectives and design curricula and courses
  • Demonstrated ability to assess competencies and abilities of students post training
  • Reliable access to an automobile and the ability to travel throughout Connecticut to all CHC locations
  • Ability to work early morning, evening and weekends as needed
