JOB TITLE: TRAINING & AFTERMARKET COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: AFTERMARKET
REPORTS TO: AFTERMARKET DIRECTOR

Summary:
Performs and/or oversees a variety of associated planning, logistics, and fiscal activities. Coordinates trainers’ schedules with customer requests as well as facilitates commercial items with various departments including invoicing, logistics, and project management. Requires a high level of judgment and critical thinking. May coordinate specified administrative activities and reporting across multiple organizational units within a department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1 Oversees and/or performs a range of diverse activities such as scheduling and coordinating for the department or organizational unit; serves as a central point of liaison with other departments and external constituencies in the resolution of a variety of day-to-day matters concerning the aftermarket and training departments.
2 Prepare quotations for aftermarket offerings such as training, service contracts, and spare parts. Continuously update the CRM database with new information regarding contacts, opportunities, customer interactions, etc.
3 Be primary contact for regional seminars which will include coordinating venues, shipping necessary materials, telemarketing of the seminars to the customer base, and register and maintain attendee list.
4 Researches information, compiles statistics, and gathers and computes various data; prepares special and/or one-time reports, summaries, audit responses or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant data from a variety of sources.
5 Logistical support for trainers, which includes coordinating and facilitating meetings, facilities usage, events, travel arrangements, and visas, as required.
6 Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience
Bacherlor’s degree or a minimum of five plus year’s administrative support experience in an aftermarket or services environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills desired. Demonstrated strong service orientation with attention to detail and follow through necessary as a customer service leader. Industry experience a plus.

Language Skills
Ability to read, understand employee information, offer letters, government documents, correspondence from legal counsel and other data requests from external sources. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal and external customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to employees and Management. Must be fluent in spoken and written English.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as percentages and ratios

Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills
Intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills. Must be PC proficient and have an aptitude for working with a variety of computer systems/applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Exhibits understanding of general accounting/business principles.
