ACCOUNT MANAGER, TRAINING SERVICES (INSIDE SALES)
Join our team of leaders in electrical power system maintenance, repair, testing & training in our Dallas, Texas headquarters. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to sell our Electrical Safety and Technical Skills training services. This is an immediate, full time position conducting national telesales to current and prospective customers. We have a dedicated instructional and support staff and carefully developed training courses. All of our courses utilize a hands on approach to training to reinforce the lecture, and many of our courses include reference books, such as ANSI/NETA MTS/ATS, NFPA 70E, NEC, etc. Shermco is accredited by NETA, PEV, SKF & ANAB.

Minimum Qualifications to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:
High School diploma or GED; some college education a plus
2 or more years of successful inside sales experience in similar industry
Solid computer skills with the following software: Excel, Word, Outlook, and database data entry; experience with Navision and Microsoft CRM a plus
Prefer knowledge or experience with electrical safety
Excellent personal and selling skills
Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
Sell Shermco’s training services via phone and email marketing
Responsible for developing an individual sales strategy for assigned territory to meet or exceed sales quota
Develop an assigned territory (North Texas and eastern U.S.)
Work with entire outside sales team to identify and support training opportunities with their customers
Data mine and research databases for prospective new customers to call on
Enter and track all sales activity into CRM
Work with the training department coordinator to insure flawless execution of training courses
Work with the technical instructors to coordinate with the customer in the delivery of a world class training program
Support account from sales, securing purchase orders, terms and conditions,and customer relations
Attend weekly sales meetings in Dallas headquarters office
Occasionally attend and represent training services at trade shows
Support Shermco training events, seminars, and trade shows
Represent and uphold the Shermco brand name
Must reside in North Texas and work daily at our Irving, Texas office (no relocation offered)
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
Must be able to travel overnight approximately 10% of the time to attend trade shows
Must be able to work at a desk/cubicle on a PC and telephone with or without reasonable accommodations.
