The Training Coordinator will support the entire K&LP Division with specific focus on the ASI Government Training Institute and the K&LP Client Solutions team.
Work directly with the Learning Manager to coordinate and support all client training events. This may include, but is not limited to:
Create, plan and execute training events to include:
Coordinating availability and booking instructors for each classroom event and for e-learning video shoots
Research and reserve training space, as needed
Coordinate timely order and shipment of all textbooks, books, literature and promotional items
Establish requirements for rooms, food, training space, audio visual specifications
Generate student certificates and manage overall certificate process
Compile data from student evaluations
Manage attendee lists electronically; track student enrollments
Maintain all student and course records including CLPs, grades, and attendees
Facilitate on-site engagements, including setting up the training space, greeting students and being on site for instructor or student needs, during each event.
Coordinate video shoots, to include instructors , videographers, and internal participation for e-learning module development
Work with ASI HR to coordinate all internal classes
Negotiate prices and contracts with printing vendors and publishers
Negotiate prices and contract with outside vendors
Work with instructors to keep all bios and course selections up to date.
Create and maintain comprehensive instructor matrix, mapping experience, education, certifications, and course selections
Coordinate with instructors and navigate them through train-the-trainer process
Coordinate with ASI IT department regarding website and Intranet training updates
Coordinate with ASI Graphics department regarding all collateral updates
Maintain all instructor-related resources
Maintain stock of all non-printed training materials
Create and maintain Applied Learning Online problem log
Serve as Learning Management System Administrator to include generating reports as needed, tracking and maintaining students, courses completed, grades, credits earned, etc.
Support the Client Solutions Management (CSM) team sales and CRM efforts. This may include, but is not limited to:
GreetK&LP & Training clients and visitors to the ASI office
Support CSM staff with the printing and delivery of marketing materials and other handouts for client and prospective-client meetings
Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
Setup and coordinate meetings, conferences and travel arrangements
Collaborate on special projects, plan and support special events
Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook)
Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal communication skills are required
Ability to write clear and concise correspondence
Must be professional & personable, and exercise good judgment when dealing with customers, coworkers and executives
A bachelor’s degree and training coordination experience is desired but not required.
This position will be based full-time in ASI Government’s Rosslyn, Virginia offices.
