Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
Serve as a job expert or organization resource in assigned areas
Conduct necessary research to assist in the development of course materials
Organize and develop or obtain course materials such as handouts and visual materials
Secure and contract meeting space and audio visual equipment with various hotels, venues and companies around the State of Georgia
Create and distribute training announcements, brochures, handouts and any other training related items needed to communicate information about the event
Manage the online Registration system
Manage registration and provide on-site management
Provide audio-visual and computer support when needed
Develop, obtain approval and maintain Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in accordance with the Department standards
Manage various consultant/trainer needs ranging from room set-up specifications, duplication of handouts and processing of invoices
Prepare interim reports for various training programs as requested
Serve as a liaison between client and contracted partners
Assist with on-site management and calendars, file maintenance, handling incoming calls
Help to manage some of the paperwork, keep log updated, provide status reports
Manage Lunch and learns and Webinars
Manager smaller projects as required (15 people or less)
Bachelors degree in education, human resource development, nursing or a related field to area of assignment from an accredited college or university and two years of experience planning, developing, delivering or evaluating training programs or academic instruction OR One year of experience at the lower level or position equivalent
Over two years experience in Training facilitation and coordination
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
Over two years experience in Behavioral Health or Developmental Disabilities

This position is a pay grade 15 on the statewide salary plan.
