Post by Jobing - Startup Quest Training Facilitator Role and responsibilities • Serve as the primary trainer for the Startup Quest entrepreneurial training program • Provide weekly presentations on topics from the training curriculum • Assist in identifying local area entrepreneurs and business management professionals to serve as guest speakers on correlated assigned topics each week • Work with the project manager and the BASEC grant management team to implement the Startup Quest training curriculum • Troubleshoot problems throughout the training program and work with the management team to resolveRequired qualifications • MBA and/or substantial demonstrated experience as a successful entrepreneur in a technology–based business • Experience in developing business plans for innovative technologies in physical sciences, health, medicine, biotechnology, IT/IS, engineering, or other technical area • Understanding of the product development process • Experience in securing outside angel or venture capital investment in a startup company • Engaging communication style • Willingness and ability to commit time and energy required to lead the Startup Quest training programDesired qualifications • Experience in technology transfer and commercialization • Experience as a trainer or teacher in corporate settings • Familiarity with a range of texts related to entrepreneurship, business development, and/or technology commercialization • Well–established networks within the innovation community, including investor networks
