Administrator for the Department of Correction's (DOC) Learning Management Systems (LMS); Direct supervision of assigned staff; Supervise e-learning projects to ensure benchmark's are achieved; Collaborate with the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPS) e-learning project team; Supervise vendor service contracts; Provide design and development expertise to support e-learning; Develop training modules to support changes to the Inmate Management System (IMS) and Intranet Application; Research emerging trends to enhance technology training systems and course design; Supervise the DOC Computer Labs; Develop online surveys and assessments to evaluate the impact of training and determine training needs; Design, develop and deliver classroom based training and virtual instructor led training (VILT); Generate quarterly, annual and specialized training reports.
Minimum Entrance Requirements:
Applicants must have at least (A) two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in teaching, instructing or training work which included the planning, development or implementation of educational or employee training programs as a major duty, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
I. A Bachelor's degree with a major in education may be substituted for the required experience.*

Three years of full-time or equivalent part-time, professional experience in Moodle, LMS Administration for a large scale organization. Applicants must have at least five years of full-time, or equivalent part-time instructional design experience developing SCORM modules following the ADDIE model and using e-learning development software such as Articulate Studio, Captivate 5-56, Lectora Inspire. Entry-level and Advanced level Training for Trainers Certifications or equivalent training experience; Experience using E-learning course development applications (Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Lectora Inspire, etc); Experience using web-based applications, Supervisory experience and/or certifications; Project Management experience.
This is a Civil Service position.
