DEPARTMENT: Quality Assurance
LOCATION: ILG- Wilmington
REPORTS TO: Training Manager
The training Instructor develops curriculum courseware and provides both classroom and distance training for a variety of critical subject areas such as indoctrination, customer service, aircraft basic technical instruction, and general policies and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid FAA A& P License
Five (5) years of experience as a certificated mechanic in an Air Carrier or corporate environment
Previous classroom instruction and course development experience
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High level of written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, PowerPoint and web publisher products
Bachelors Degree preferred. Associates Degree acceptable with relevant experience.
Primarily a professional office environment.
Frequent visits to hangars, shops and aircraft.
Extreme time constraints, changing objectives and demanding clientele.
NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Developing and delivering instruction in Customer Service skills and Employee Development/Leadership.
Maintain involvement in the Quality Program processes, both as a measurement of training effectiveness and to adapt training subject matter to address the quality issues.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The training Instructor will develop technical and soft skills training curriculum.
This position will utilize multiple media in curriculum development and delivery including video, web based programs, Adobe and PowerPoint.
