Develops annual training plan based on firmwide initiatives
  • Assesses training needs for each associate level, region, department and industry group
  • Identifies external blended learning solutions or collaborates with internal SME's to develop content that meets training / developmental goals
  • Promotes upcoming training opportunities to associates
  • Maintains training calendar on Rehmann University
  • Facilitiates online, webinar and in-person training sessions at offices throughout the firm
  • Designs, delivers, analyzes and summarizes training evaluations to determine immediate impact, transfer of knowledge, ability to apply learning and measureable business results
  • Forecasts annual training budget and tracks monthly performance-to-budget
Manages the learning and development infrastructure
  • Administers the Learning Management System (LMS) program and online Rehmann University portal for the firm
  • Collaborates with training sub-committees and other stakeholders on overall learning development process, including coordination of technology, facilities, travel accomodations, meals, instructors, equipment and materials
  • Manages scheduling of presenters as training sessions are created; works with presenters to improve overall performance or training delivery
  • Prepares monthly training report for executive committees and Managing Principals
Coordinates the firm's Career Pathing activity
  • Defines the needs for each level of the training audience; continuously updates curriculum based on changes to the firm strategic initiatives or objectives
  • Collaborates to identify skill and competency levels for all associates
  • Ensures each associate has an Individual Development Plan (IDP) that may be used to manage their annual learning plan
  • Collaborates with functional departments to coordinate CPE requirements for all associates
  • Tracks and reports all progress on associate CPA certification and license renewal
Manages new associate and merger orientation programs
  • Works with firm leadership to develop orientation programs
  • Coordinates program planning, including content development, course materials, training agenda, facility acquisition, presenter scheduling and course evaluation
  • Ensures all new associates and their supervisors are aware of training opportunities
  • Collaborates with Director of Campus Recruitment and functional departments to deliver intern training
Determines training policies and procedures
  • Benchmarks partner firms to identify best practices
  • Collaborates with firm leadership and functional training sub-committees to capture associate training expectations
  • Publishes, communicates and markets training policies and procedures manual
  • Ensures adherence to firm training standards
  • Indentifies Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure effectiveness of training policies
Develop, Implement and Administer Leadership Development Programs
  • Collaborates with Steering Committee to conduct annual audience assessment, nomination and notification processes
  • Coordinates all communication, invitations and feedback surveys
  • Schedules and coordinates all training event planning needs

  • Bachelors Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or other related field
  • 5+ years experience in training / associate development roles with progressively more responsibility
  • Experience in the professional services industry is highly preferred
  • Skilled in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology; proven ability to analyze needs, design, develop, deliver and evaluate training programs and associated materials
  • Possesses expertise in use of training technologies including, Learning Management Systems, Learning Content Management Systems, WedEx, Go-to-Training, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, design and deliver interactive training presentations
  • Training "platform" skills to facilitate and/or deliver a variety of learning experiences
  • Skilled in social media applications that relate to training design, delivery or evaluation
  • Ability to utilize strategic planning skills to create plans and tactics to meet expectations
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage time and leverage technology effectively
  • Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills and proficiency in engaging various stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate with senior leadership with confidence
