The Operational Performance function provides support to the Enterprise Shared Services teams. It supports the strategic direction of the Shared Services Enterprise, by designing and delivering Inc. wide process improvements and corresponding Change Management, Comunications and Training; Publish Operational and Service Level Metrics; and Provide Application Subject Matter Expertise across the Shared Services tools in support of the overall business and Shared Services strategy; and in alignment with the operational framework.

The Training Specialist participates in the development of training goals and plans for the Shared Services Center. The Training Specialist will design, coordinate, and deliver training programs; and identify training needs in consultation with leadership, Change Management team, and the business customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develops and designs instructional materials to accomplish training objectives in line with departmental goals and needs.
2. Facilitates on-the-job, classroom training, and new hire engagement training.
3. Identifies and assesses employee training and development needs through observations, surveys, and management reports.
4. Creates and administers training evaluations; adjusts training methods, delivery, and training aides in accordance with effectiveness measure.
5. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress and evaluates effectiveness of programs.
6. Work collaboratively with leadership and Change Management teams on process development and improvements.
7. Performs other related duties, as required.

Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Administration, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)

Required Experience:
• 5+ years in training/development, organizational change, or a related field

• Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Administration, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years in training/development, organizational change, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience with designing and delivering instructional materials
• Demonstrated understanding of change management principles and methodologies
• Excellent relationships building skills, and sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated effective time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates and within budget guidelines
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated strong Customer Service skills
• Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Skills:
• Master’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Administration, Business Administration or related field
• Proficiency in process improvement techniques including Lean & Six Sigma
