The Training Specialist is responsible and accountable for developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating educational programming and activities for improving performance in collaboration with the clinical education specialists and quality management specialists.
Applicable Associates or Business Degree or equivalent experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
Essential Job-Related Experience:
Proficient in Word computer program.
Ability to communicate and render presentations in formal and informal settings.
Ability to calculate applicable statistics and translate data to create a variety of graphic presentations
Ability to develop forms and enter data into appropriate spreadsheet and/or data base software applications.
Current Medical Terminology.
Ability to maintain/update the computer competencies as required for the position.
Preferred Job-Related Experience:
Basic Cardiac Life Support Instructor.
Working knowledge of PowerPoint computer program and Access preferred.
Knowledge of Cerner
