Currently we are seeking a Training and Development Manager to join our organization.

The Training and Development Manager will oversee the training and employee development department and evaluate overall effectiveness and performance through the application of individual and group training techniques and programs, consistent with the Credit Union's organizational priorities.

Specific duties include:
Oversees and participates in the development and facilitation of all training programs to support employee development and strategic initiatives. Analyze, develop, and implement training programs, tools and content for delivery across multiple platforms including classroom training, on-the-job training, meetings, eLearning, webinars and workshops.

Participate on organizational project teams representing the training department and assessing/providing appropriate training support for each initiative. Manage process/project communications including design, status and issues, feedback and progress with stakeholders at all levels as appropriate.

Effectively manage internal and external relationships (vendors and consultants) on organizational training needs.

Report and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics, observations, surveys, assessments and make recommendations for improvements.

Oversees the daily operations of department; hires, trains, directs, develops and evaluates employee performance within the department.

Candidates must have five to eight years’ experience in a leadership role working in a progressive, service oriented organization. Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Learning, Business or similar. Master’s degree or CPLP preferred. Knowledge of adult learning theories and their integration with facilitation and curriculum development; Experience in instructional design, training program development and administration. Proven success in implementing modern eLearning technology for distance and facilitated training. Experience in tracking methods and evaluation of knowledge retention metrics; Ability to develop and maintain cross functional relationships to support departmental and strategic initiatives; Exceptionally skilled in facilitation and Microsoft Office products. Experience with Camtasia and LMS/HRIS systems preferred.
