JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:
Primary role is to reduce risk through compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. Assuring maximum efficiency and performance of alert/monitoring platform, development and refinement of BSA system rules, scenario testing; based on tuning results, assists in preparing documentation outlining parameter and threshold modifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Creates detailed plans for scheduling the tuning and testing of production and pre-production monitoring rules within Actimize AML & Wire/ACH fraud solutions and the various check/deposit fraud solutions.
 Responsible for preparing statistical analysis, reporting, insight, and presentations to be provided to management committees regarding the Financial Intelligence Department’s performance and efficiency
 Plays a key role in communicating issues identified during the tuning/testing process to management, FID’s Business Risk Supervisor and IT programming/technical staff
 Creates documentation related to production and pre-production tuning efforts and parameter changes for Fraud and AML monitoring systems to ensure a comprehensive audit trail is maintained as required by the Bank Secrecy Act and other regulatory guidance.
 Assists department management as directed for tracking system changes, data validation and parameter changes for Fraud and AML monitoring systems to ensure a comprehensive audit trail is maintained as required by the Bank Secrecy Act
 Assists department management in discussion with personnel of businesses in a merger or acquisition to identify and document monitoring coverage from legacy systems.
 Under direct supervision, assists with evaluating monitoring solutions and correct errors to maintain system after implementation
 Under direct supervision, plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development
 May be expected to individually lead projects and successfully collaborate on larger projects
 Assist department management in conducting data validation and other system testing
 All other duties/special projects as assigned.
 Incumbent is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
 Associates degree or equivalent from a college or technical school
 One to three months related experience and/or training
Preferred
 Bachelor's degree (math)
 Concentration in math and statistics
 Three months to one year related experience and/or training
 MS Excel (pivot tables)

MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
 Math - Experienced - Advanced
 Management Reporting - Basic
 Reasoning Skills - Experienced
