We are seeking a Transactional Real Estate Paralegal or Commercial/Retail Real Estate Leasing Transactional Specialist to join our growing Legal Department at our Corporate Office in Calabasas, CA. This is a great opportunity in a small legal department where your contribution will make an impact on the success of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to lawyers in reviewing and drafting transactional real estate related documents, with an emphasis on retail leasing.
Researching laws, articles, and past judicial decisions
Preparing written reports
Analyzing and organizing research and information
Administrative responsibilities
Strong ability to interact with senior and junior level corporate personnel, vendors and outside counsel.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail a must
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional duties as assigned by manager
Education and/or Experience:
Certified paralegal
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a transactional real estate paralegal (expertise in retail leasing is a must) or equivalent experience as a commercial/retail real estate transactional specialist (with emphasis in leasing).
Strong writing, communication and legal research skills a must.
Multistate experience desired.
Top law firm experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
General office environment, ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move about an office.

The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
