Job Purpose (Job Summary)
The Transitions Coordinator is responsible for the management of all account on-boarding activities from the moment Invesco is selected to manage a client’s account until the day we begin investment. The role requires the management of multiple on-going projects, along with the active coordination among all internal and external stakeholders. The Transitions Coordinator will also manage all transitions as accounts and products are terminated.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
Perform the role of Transition Coordinator for all new and closed accounts. This role is responsible for workflow management from the time Invesco has confirmed a win through funding of the new mandate.
To organize and lead both impromptu and regular meetings to support each transition. Agendas are expected to be produced and distributed prior to regular meetings. This requires interface with many different internal and external parties.
Update the appropriate accounting and trading systems with all activity related to a transition.
Coordination with Operations, Investment Centers, Legal, Compliance, Performance & Risk, Sales & Service, and Client Reporting for all transitions.
The production and support of regular reports to the management team regarding active transitions and the current status of each.
Ensure account/portfolio/client data consistency between all relevant systems.
Utilize and work to enhance current procedures in order to identify areas of risk.
The creation of workflows and process management that leverage our global Institutional Support model.
Perform all account maintenance as required. This requires interfacing with all trading, accounting, and client relationship management systems.

Work Experience / Knowledge
5 years plus of relevant work experience in investment management industry, or other financial field
Experience with leading complex projects

Strong orientation to detail and producing high quality results in a deadline driven environment.
Exceptional project management skills and experience in leading and balancing multiple initiatives.

Ability to pick-up complex concepts quickly.
Demonstrates drive and initiative; must be willing to accept new challenges.
Technologically savvy with a strong understanding of the complete Microsoft Office suite.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Communications is preferred or equivalent years of direct experience required.
