Transportation Fuels Marketing Manager
Manages sales of gasoline, diesel and jet to new and existing customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Has overall responsibility for HRC gasoline, diesel and jet sales.
Ensures that appropriate business relations are maintained with existing transportation fuel customers in order to promote and maximize light oil sales.
Develops new customers around traditional marketing area.
Oversees the development of new marketing areas and acquisition of new customers.
Oversees the development of card lock and fleet sales of traditional products including E10 and B20.
Introduce B20 to HRC market.
Develops market for expanded renewable products such as E85 and B80 to fleet customers.
Expands and develops supply relationship with rail and industrial customers.
Develops and maintains marketing programs, such as the gasoline and diesel volume incentive programs, to enhance sales volumes and margins.
Responsible for monitoring product rack pricing in geographic area in respect to inventories, competitor's pricing, general market dynamics, etc., to ensure consistency with current marketing strategies aimed at maintaining proper sales and pricing objectives which include generation or RIN or RIN avoidance.
Resolves customer conflicts surrounding pricing, quality, and term.
Serve as liaison between Company, customers, and regulating entities in order to communicate compliance issues impacting the petroleum refining/marketing industry and retail market.
Maintain positive working relationships with other departments of Company in order to promote the efficient administration of marketing function.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 10 - 15 years petroleum marketing experience. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Would like an ENGINEERING DEGREE but will consider other degrees as well........ Must be able to work in USA with no sponsorship.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have a valid driver license.
