Elliott Group seeks a Transportation Coordinator for our Jeannette, PA manufacturing operations.

Types and maintains various shipping documents and files as required.
Operates personal computer, typewriter, copy machine, calculator and name plate machine.
Extracts data from provided information and types necessary paperwork for all Elliott shipments including Bills of Lading, Air Bills, Canadian Customs Invoices and Export documents for Canadian shipments, International Bills of Lading, Service Orders, FSO's and PT's for all foreign shipments, where applicable.
Prepares and types Daily Shipping Records. Distributes as required.
Contacts trucking and airline firms for information on shipments.
Traces shipments and provides this information to customers and others as directed by supervision.
Works with other departments where necessary to process shipping paperwork.
Maintains various files and logs in Shipping Department as required.
Types specification nameplates.
Orders and maintains supplies for department as required.
Performs typing, filing, and other general clerical work as required by the department.
Tracks costs of shop orders by inputting information into personal computer.
Matches Freight Bills with Bills of Lading.
Minimum three years of manufacturing experience required.
4-year college dgree strongly preferred.
Computer skills and blueprint reading required.
