Trauma Surgeon

The Division of Trauma/Critical Care Surgery, Department of Surgery, at the Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a qualified faculty member to join our academic practice in Richmond, Virginia. VCU is a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Qualifications: Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery. Fellowship in Trauma/Critical Care, as well as commitment to laboratory and/or clinical research is required. Responsibilities also include teaching residents and medical students. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU is required. This position is a non-tenure eligible position on the collateral track. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
