We have a vacancy for a Travel Coordinator in our Philadelphia office

The successful candidate will assist internal employees in coordinating business travel arrangements. All duties are to be performed in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures.

Candidates will be responsible for: Assisting employees with reservations, transfers, changes, and cancellations; booking complex domestic and international reservations for air travel, rail tickets, hotel and car rentals; monitoring and reporting on travel expenditure maintaining quality control; staying educated on airline rules, regulations, visas and current affairs; negotiating corporate hotel rates at various hotels / groups in cities we utilize frequently; assisting in creation of service contracts for Americas travel; liaising between internal & external personnel and vendors in order to maintain positive relationships; serving as the first point of contact both internally and externally for travel concerns and issues & determine appropriate travel solution; and ensuring all travel arrangements and changes are communicated to employees.

The desired candidate will have a High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred, A degree in Travel Tourism strongly preferred; 1-3 years experience; strong domestic and basic international travel knowledge; the ability to work in a team environment; the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees; effective oral and written communication skills; proficiency in internet research skills for customer information; and high self motivation.

Travel to other Aberdeen offices outside the U.S. not likely, but may be needed; Light (0-5 hours per week) overtime expected
