AmericanTours International, LLC, the nation's leading visit-USA Tour and Travel wholesaler, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Travel Product Buyer to join our growing Marketing and contracting team. The Travel Product Buyer is responsible for maximizing gross profit through negotiation in assigned markets:
Develops and maintains regular and consistent partner contact at the property level and, when appropriate, chain level Regional Managers. Builds strong relationships and identified opportunities to promote partner accounts. Develops marketing plans with destination partners to ensure continued growth in assigned markets.
Analyzes and negotiates contracts to ensure Americantours International enjoys market leading rate and inventory in assigned markets.
Understands high/low occupancy periods for all assigned markets. Creates, develops and executes plan for meeting market demand. Monitors performance by partners and addresses any problems or concerns in a proactive fashion.

Position requires availability for up to 75% travel within North America, primarily USA. Our environment is professional, upbeat, fast-paced and goal-oriented, so this particular individual must thrive in this and work well with (and enjoy) pressure and deadlines.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of demonstrated marketing and general business experience required. Proven negotiation skills in the hospitality industry preferred. Online or travel marketing experience presferred. Hospitality sales and/or revenue management background preferrred. Superior relationship management, organizational and analytical skills required.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have advanced microsoft office suite and related computer software skills. Excellent written and verbal commuication skills required. Familiarity with travel industry marketing concepts, practices and procedures preferred.
