POSITION SUMMARY

The Treasurer is responsible for managing company funds, overseeing the allocation of cash balances, loans, disbursements and investments by monitoring cash flow, generating forecasts, and preparing cash flow reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Treasurer:
Monitors the cash flow into and out of the organization

Shifts funds as needed in order to maintain liquidity requirements

Manages balance sheet and cash flow forecasts

Generates cash flow forecasts to meet ongoing corporate forecasting requirements

Analyzes relationships between P&L, balance sheet and cash flow data to develop accurate forecasting methods

Provides management weekly cash reports

Takes a lead role in researching and recommending cash process efficiencies and improvements

Manage all banking relationships

Manage all insurance policies

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Education/Credentials

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree , preferably in Business or Finance

Experience

This position requires at least three (3) years of experience in a similar role. Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
