Divisional Description:

This position will be located in the Corporate Division. Corporate provides centralized service and support to Transamerica's operating companies. Service units include corporate accounting, actuarial, audit, benefits, business development, compliance, information technology, law and tax. Corporate Treasury is responsible for working with business units to concentrate funds in the most efficient manner to a Treasury level account for daily investing. Acts a liaison between the business units and banks.

Primary Purpose
Coordinate and analyze daily treasury operations in an effort to provide timely/accurate cash flow information for investment purposes. Accountable for daily treasury operations or cash management activities (Treasury workstation, Wire Systems, Funding and/or Cash Modeling). Provide work direction and leadershp to junior members of the team. If supervisor, responsible for promoting growth and development to analysts by providing feedback through timely annual reviews (among other mediums) and setting challenging yet reasonable objectives. Provide customer service to both internal/external customers. Research and analyze problems, identify solutions and ensure implementation. Advise and participate in the development, testing and implementation of system enhancements.

• Invest funds by legal entity for Short Term investments, considering internal Transamerica controls and SOX controls
• Reconcile and analyze cash forecasts at a detailed level
• Frequently evaluate processes in an effort to identify inefficiencies; suggest and implement improvements
Four year accounting/finance degree. Minimum 2-4 years relevant experience
Continuing education in related area of expertise such as CTP certification a plus
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and other pertinent computer applications
Knowledge of divisional structure within Transamerica, as well as statutory company structure, a plus.
