This position is responsible for the daily analysis and movement of cash for all Intermountain bank accounts. This individual manages all aspects of Intermountain’s banking operations and is responsible for managing the bank accounts and bank account structure, investing the daily liquid cash, and providing analysis and support to the treasury function. This position may also manage a portion of Intermountain’s swap collateral and statutory deposits, and ensure compliance to applicable banking regulations and credit card industry security compliance procedures. This individual will also assist external auditors with audit issues on all cash balances.The incumbent will perform the following tasks:

Acts as liaison between Treasury and all operating departments, along with the external auditors as necessary

Assists department leaders on projects as needed

Plans, monitors, and controls cash balances in Intermountain’s bank accounts to assure that all obligations of the company are met

Assesses the liquidity needs of the company on a daily basis and invests excess cash balances as appropriate with an objective to secure principle first and find appropriate returns second

Maintains banker relationships and bank account structure to accommodate Intermountain and its affiliates' operations; Monitors bank service charges on a monthly basis

Acts as a subject matter expert (SME); Understands new technologies affecting the payments and/or collections processes and makes recommendations for changes as necessary; Participates in the planning and implementation of new technologies affecting the payments and/or collections processes including participating as an SME for the Treasury module of the ERP

Manages direct short-term fixed income investments for Intermountain's bond proceeds, statutory investment accounts, and other short duration internal direct fixed income investments

Ensure Compliance to PCI security standards and manage the yearly certification process

Work with internal stakeholders and banks to secure letters of credit from banking partners when required for surety bonds or other purposes

Coordinates Intermountain's merchant services relationships

Completes monthly intercompany transfers

Minimum Requirements

Must meet one of the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business required; Education is verified and must be obtained through an accredited institution

Three years of experience working in cash management, investment analysis, or financial management in a role requiring excellent financial analysis skills

OR

MBA or Master’s Degree in Accounting

One year of experience working in cash management, investment analysis, or financial management in a role requiring excellent financial analysis skills

Additional Requirements:
Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail and scheduling applications

Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Physical Requirements

Speaking, hearing / listening, seeing, manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications

Desire to work toward Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation(s)
