Completes a variety of difficult financial assignments within the Corporate Treasury department.
Manages the day-to-day operations of Corporate Treasury’s online electronic banking platforms. Acts as the interface between the banks and internal users for technical support and training. Responsible for implementing and managing new systems as needed.
Manages domestic and international corporate bank accounts which include maintenance, new account openings, and closing of non-essential accounts. Interacts with Global Business Units to understand needs, assesses available products, services, technologies and systems and makes appropriate recommendations. Completes bank documentation and manages the implementation process for new services. Maintains bank account database and listing of account signers.
Maintains working relationships with bank’s customer service and implementation representatives.
Analyzes bank fees. Reviews invoices on a monthly basis to ensure fees adhere to Parsons’ pricing models. Seeks resolution with financial institutions for pricing discrepancies.
Manages the inventory of bank guarantees and letters of credit issued under Parsons’ credit lines. Interacts with the business units to timely issue new bank guarantees or letters of credit. Completes applications, maintains document files and listings. Ensures instrument form and text conforms to company guidelines.
Reconciles investment accounts and prepares monthly journal entry.
Prepares standard and ad hoc reports for internal and external distribution.
Supports treasury cash management and back-office accounting functions. Perform transactions, investigates and resolves issues in a timely manner.
4 year degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field and 5-8 years of accounting/finance related work experience with at least 3 years of treasury related experience.
Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong business, time management and organizational skills.
Must have the ability to work independently.
Advanced analytical skills. Ability to handle complex analysis from issue identification to potential solutions.
Excellent customer service, technical, analytical, and communication (oral & written) skills required.
Excellent PC skills, including advanced proficiency using Excel, the Internet and bank systems.
Ability to exercise good judgment to appropriately handle confidential issues.
