Yamaha is seeking a successful Treasury Analyst to join our Accounting Division. This person will work with the Treasury Supervisor to managing all aspects of cash. They will be responsible for daily cash management, cash reporting & analysis and determining the necessary surplus/deficit amounts.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Perform daily corporate cash management and forecasting activities

Provide operational information to support journal entries as part of monthly close cycle: post journal entries to SAP

Analyze financial data, draw conclusion and present recommendations on decisions and actions

Prepare cash flow projections; prepare and report on variance analysis

Analyze and report on key drivers of treasury performance

Create and maintain financial models to ensure accuracy & consistency with latest accounting and industry best practices and guidelines

Conduct cost-benefit and financial analysis on cash and treasury operations, cash management, bank account management and payments

Develop and maintain forecasts based upon long-term budget projections and short term transactional information

Coordinate with business units to prepare budgets and forecasts of interest income/expense, service fees, etc…

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent, MBA a plus

5 – 7 years of finance and accounting related work experience with a large multi-national company preferred

Advanced MS office suite and knowledge of computerized accounting systems-SAP a plus

Must be able to work independently with strong problem solving and analytical skills

The ability to work independently, managing multiple deadlines and deliver accurate results in a timely manner

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with functional department

Proven track record for process improvement and cost savings
