SUMMARY: Supervises the activities of the Truck Wash Team Members and washes and performs minor repairs on electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of truck wash team members.
- Reads job order and performs wash on various company equipment.
- Installs new truck washing equipment in company wash facility.
- Vacuums and cleans interior of company vehicles.
- Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and equipment and makes recommendations for their repair.
- Gathers employee time cards and distributes employee paychecks as needed.
- Accurately and timely completes and turns in all paperwork.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
