The Department of Tumor Registry has an opening for a Tumor Registry Supervisor. Responsible for the performance of advanced technical work in coding and qualitative analysis of medical records for all patients diagnosed, seen or treated with malignant or benign reportable disease at Univeristy of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center, University of Miami Hospital, and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in accordance with American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACos CoC) and Florida Cancer Data System (FCDS) guidelines. This includes performing various technical duties including but not limited to case finding, data collection, data analysis, data entry, follow up, quality control, chart retrieval, chart review, report writing, typing of letters and documents, time management for all staff, monthly productivity reports, annual reports, tumor boards, Cancer Committee and related Committees, data submission to submission to State/National Cancer Data Base, anwering phone and performance of related duties assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of prior relevant work experience required. Certified Tumor Registrar required. Bachelors Degree preferred. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
