Primary Role of this position is to systematically and consistently provide learning support services to students in a positive and efficient delivery process by servicng as aan academic tutor. The learning support servces include one-on-one and group tutoring sessions with students in a non-directive, facilitative approach; assisting with computer-based, academic tutorials; assisting students with comprehension of course subject matter; conducting workshops on study skills and techniques to show students how to be more successful academically; developing aids to assist students with subject understanding; and providing some administrative assistance to the tutoring center.
Full-Time / Part-Time:
Hours vary and are on an as needed basis.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a directly related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with various tutoring strategies or programs. Minimum of two years of one-one-one and group tutoring experience preferred, including experience impacting education attainment amongst diverse student populations.

F-9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
