Affinity Medical Solutions Operating Division (AMS) of University HealthCare Alliance in Richmond, CA, has a Pharmacy Manager opportunity for University HealthCare Advantage (UHCA). University HealthCare Alliance (UHA) is a medical foundation affiliated with Stanford Health Care.

The Pharmacy Manager will plan, develop and direct all pharmacy related projects. In addition, he/she will plan and direct initiatives to establish oversight for the UHCA Medicare Advantage plan and establish collaborative processes to ensure effective inter-departmental management. This role is responsible for establishing a pharmacy program that meets Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements. The role will work closely with the Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) and will direct data analytic and reporting activities that are prescribed by CMS and other regulators, including ensuring compliance with state, federal and accreditation requirements.

Desired Skills & Experience A Master’s degree is required or prior Senior or Executive level Managed Care experience including a solid understanding of accreditation and federal and state regulations. This position also requires strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and be detail oriented with a proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point). The optimum team player must possess excellent communications (verbal and written) skills. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in successfully building a department and an effective team.
