The department of OBGYN for Roosevelt Hospital is currently looking for a Full Time Registered Ultrasound Technician for its Maternal Fetal Evaluation Unit. The hours for the position are 8:30am – 4:30pm and the days vary. The successful candidate will be performing all phases of obstetrical ultrasound and ultrasound guidance for invasive procedure. The candidate will be reviewing test requisitions, previous exams and patient charts, reviewing exams with the perinatologist, bring in any abnormal or discrepancy to finding to her/his attention, ensure that patients receive follow-up appointment as necessary, sterilize and store transvaginal probes, stock ultrasound rooms and amniocentesis carts with linens and supplies, etc.

  • Graduate from a CAAHP- approved Ultrasound Program for Equivalent
  • Must have ARDMS certification
  • Must meet the minimum requirement for the position in order to be considered.
