KeyBank's UNIX Server Management team is looking for a dynamic individual to join our fast-paced and challenging group. We are seeking people with strong collaborative and partnering skills to work with our customers to manage and maintain mission-critical systems for the Bank. We interact with a broad and deep range of technologies and candidates should be upbeat, energetic, and have a diverse technical background.
Essential Job Functions
Architect, engineer and support KeyBank's distributed server platforms.
Environment administration (building, patching, securing, maintaining and troubleshooting servers issues, operating systems and infrastructure applications)
Project lead role on large size projects
Ability to work independently as well as to lead/guide small groups
Enterprise product evaluation and integration responsibilities
Development and enforcement of internal standards
Documentation of systems implemented
Auditing and adhereance to Sarbanes Oxley, GLBA, PCI and other Compliance/Regulatory requirements
5+ years minimum experience in an enterprise computing environment with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Additional experience with AIX and Solaris is preferred
5+ years experience with server virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, RHEV, zLinux, Containers, LPARS)
Extensive experience developing scripts and automation to drive business value and efficiency
Experience with Enterprise-class Open Source tools for Configuration Management, Anti-Virus, Logging, Monitoring, or Firewalls/Protection techniques
Understanding of middleware technologies and computing concepts
Expert understanding of UNIX commands from multiple distributions
Good knowledge of at least one other technology field (network, distributed, systems management, application design)
4 year degree or equivalent experience
Excellent communication and documentation skills (verbal and written)
