The role is to provide the financial support to the US Commercial Finance Team as they help plan and manage the business. This includes activities associated with actuals review, accounting, budgeting, revenue and cost forecasting and reporting financial results to the business.
Responsibilities & Duties
Actuals Review –
Prepare and help communicate monthly/YTD financial and scorecard results.
Accounting Support –
Work with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely accounting for revenue and costs
Assist the Commercial Finance managers in development of revenue and cost forecast, primarily through the support of the revenue pipeline process and maintenance of the revenue database.
Help in the development and delivery of constantly improving financial reporting which provide meaningful intelligence to the business.
Assist in the development of the Budget and 5 year long range plan.
Group Reporting –
Support the communication of financial information to the parent company, including actual, forecast and scorecard reporting.
Cost Control –
Assist in cost tracking and cost reduction initiatives
Adhoc Finance Analysis
Assist in other financial analysis activities as required
Required: Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
1+ year of work experience in a financial role
Intermediate level skills in Excel
Desirable: Experience in CPG or Retail Industry
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access Skills
