Main Function
This is a managerial level job entailing management, planning and directing the installation, maintenance, repair, modification, inventory, and selection of complex communications equipment. Being part of a global team that understands voice recording technologies and managing the risk and control elements. Person would need to Liaise with Compliance, produce weekly and monthly reporting and define and control SLA’s and service management

Main Duties
Ensuring that procedures are followed. Incumbents also coordinate the resolution of equipment and other communications problems, and provide advice, planning, and direction to one or more state agencies or local governments. Supervision of subordinate personnel includes hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.

This role will suit someone who has a strong voice recording background and wants to progress into a more high profile role involving robust trading floors.

It should be noted that there is requirement for weekend coverage in support of moves and changes. Although being part of a team, you will be expected to work un-supervised on occasion and manage your workload effectively.

Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications

BS/BA degree with relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other applicable technical field.

5 years + experience working in a large networked environment, including day-to-day support of VOIP, Voicemail and Voice recording, Mobile Voice recording, IP Voice recording and Trading Turret including user issues.

5 years + MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in troubleshooting problems with responsibility for direct contact with the vendor and accountability for problem resolution.

Must have analytical and organizational skills necessary to administer all policies and procedures within area of responsibility.

Must be available for on-call rotations, and able to respond to any type of Disaster.

Experience dealing with Telecom providers from service ordering through problem management.

Strong working knowledge of Dodd Frank Initiatives and Regulations requirements

Strong working knowledge of Voice Services and Technologies including: Cisco Call Manager, Unity Voice Mail, Data Networking, IPC Trading Turrets/Dealerboards, Speakerbus Intercom, Voice Recording (NICE/Cybertech), Mobile Services, Carrier/Telecom Providers

Strong working knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Strategies

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Experience with building and maintaining databases for query and problem tracking.

Experience of supporting Web based applications.

Working knowledge of administrating Linux or Windows servers.

Working knowledge of Relational Database principles and methodologies.

In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise applications.
