About the Position:
This position is with 55 Sustainment Brigade, under the 316 Expeditionary Sustainment Command, located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Who May Apply:
THIS POSITION REQUIRES MEMBERSHIP IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVES (USAR).
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
The business travel requirement is 5 percent.
The duties of the position include:
- Review incoming directives, policies and instructions
- Proficient in the use of automated inquiries
- Manage personnel, finance and automated systems activities
- Process and review personnel and military pay actions
- Perform extensive record management duties
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls
- Manage unit and individual training
- Interpret training policies and training regulations
- Provide advice on mobilization planning and issues
- Assign, distribute and review work of others
- Monitor preparation for inspections and staff visits
- Manage unit publications
Specialized experience: To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-05 in the Federal service or equivalent pay band. Specialized experience is defined as work that involves performing clerical or administrative tasks such as preparing correspondence, filing and data entry; processing a variety of personnel or pay actions; interpreting and/or applying regulatory or procedural requirements.
