USER EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST
Location: Hudson, IL
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
should have excellent research skills including the ability to analyze large and small sample quantitative and qualitative data sets, and strong knowledge of sampling techniques.
Experience supporting consumer research in a large corporate environment is a plus. Experience applying a customer experience segmentation strategies a plus
Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns.
High level of focus and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic with good time management skills preferred.
Ability to work well in a team setting.
advanced degree in Human Factors, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, or related field.
Identify/define the usability objectives (e.g., content understanding, transaction completion, etc.) requires some Human Factors, Usability heuristics knowledge (understanding how users process information).
Develop comprehensive strategies to measure objectives that are consistent with understanding of best practices in the usability field, and/or deep knowledge of information processing and cognition .
Understand and use the existing User-Centered Design and Usability Process .
Identify areas for process improvement in our UCD/Usability Process (e.g., use cases, user mapping, user profiling, usability methods, techniques, templates)
Serve as subject-matter expert in usability methods (e. g., usability testing, card-sort method, customer experience mapping, satisfaction surveys)
Demonstrate thorough technical knowledge of current research and best practices in the usability field.
Develop and conduct UCD and Usability training .
Provide User Experience consulting advice to project and client teams.
