Zendesk is looking for a UX Researcher who can translate our passion for the modern web into applications that are beautifully simple. As a UX Researcher, you will conduct independent research, analyze user behavior and work with all levels of the business to humanize product ideas.
Conduct field research that provides deep insights into the behaviors and preferences that drive the adoption of Zendesk
Lead workshops that fuel ideation and lead to imaginative and natural solutions to real user problems
Validate UX models and product concepts through user interviews and customer focus groups
Facilitate formative and summative user testing during key points in the development lifecycle and clearly articulate these findings to inspire design
Establish UX metrics for measuring the effectiveness of feature designs after release to production
Share research results across the organization to generate empathy, emotion and engagement
3+ years of professional research experience using a variety of qualitative, quantitative and experimental research methodologies
B.A.,B.S. in Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology or related field
Ability to clearly communicate research findings, verbally and visually, and turn these findings into actionable items
Command of principles of interaction design and information architecture
Deep knowledge of modern web and mobile UX patterns
Portfolio demonstrating how your research affected product design
