Do you love figuring out why people do the things they do? Are you passionate about getting to know users and passing on your insights to others? We’re looking for an exceptional candidate who is skilled at conducting user research, evaluating and distilling results, and evangelizing findings to their team and company at large.
What you’ll be doing
Conducting research using a variety of tools and techniques.
Extracting and compiling insight from research and communicating findings with others in the organization
Working closely with UX designers and product managers to evaluate and improve products
What we’re looking for
Advanced degree(s) in HCI, Human Factors, Behavioral Science, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
4+ years of qualitative consumer research
Foundation in a wide variety of research methods and tools including field research, focus groups, panels, ethnographies, diary studies, surveys, and remote usability testing. And ability to recommend which techniques and approaches are appropriate for the learning objectives.
Familiarity with a range of testing and recording technologies and tools
Willingness to travel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills
A high tolerance for Webcam meetings, an enjoyment of stories about dead people, and ability to make exciting Powerpoint presentations are a plus
