Are you an experienced and adaptable UX professional passionate about transforming health care and empowering people to live better lives? Are you eager to design, build, and promote adoption of innovative technology products, services, and solutions for important and wickedly complex human problems, spanning diverse aspects of health and wellness? Are you passionate about understanding people and providing actionable insights that effectively inspire and guide product planning, design and development?
Medullan (www.medullan.com), a unique, fast growing, health care innovation company dedicated to empowering people to lead healthier, better lives, is seeking creative UX pros who are “jacks of many trades and masters of several” – with a strong need for someone who has outstanding UX research skills. Our lean, agile, human-centered product development approach – involving recurring cycles of understanding-creating-evaluating -- puts a premium on UX research and modeling to understand users, lean iterative user testing and experimentation to evaluate concepts, prototypes, and builds, and measurement and analysis of product adoption-usage analytics.
In this context, we need a UX Researcher who can flexibly, creatively, enthusiastically, seamlessly, and nimbly plan and execute the full range of qualitative research, iterative user assessments (e.g., scenario-based user testing, participatory design, etc.), and quantitative research & analysis to guide health innovation projects and programs. Our UX Researcher will also play a central role in our efforts to systematically grow our understanding of the experiences and needs of the people in health care (consumers, providers, researchers, etc.) as well as identify and apply UX design principles and patterns unique to the domain of health and wellness. Our UX Researcher will also need to have a “strong minor” in experience design both to be able to connect the dots from user insights to UX-UI design as well as to be able to work directly on the design of prototypes and products.
This is an excellent opportunity to join and help grow a talented, collaborative, fun UX team and company working on problems and solutions that really matter. This position is based in Cambridge, MA. If you are interested please send your resume and a link to your LinkedIn profile ASAP to email@example.com.
