Currently, SRC is seeking an unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) quality assurance (QA) manager/logistician to support a DoD customer in the San Diego, Calif. area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Provide timely quality assurance and logistics guidance to the customer and deployed maintenance technicians
Provide logistics and management support services, emphasizing in quality assurance
Advise customer program director on aircraft maintenance, supply support, configuration, technical issues, and quality and product assurance matters
Assist customer project managers in monitoring schedule and performance parameters
Assist customer project managers in critical issues that require emergency order/rapid reaction contracts derived from user specifications
Evaluate customer’s contractor generated technical data, technical manuals, acceptance test plans and engineering changes
Generate depot maintenance and sustainment requirements for system upgrades, improvements and modifications
Provide technical assistance as required to resolve system engineering and maintenance concerns
Position Requirements
Bachelors degree and 10 or more years of experience in UAS development, operations and sustainment or additonal years of experience in lieu of degree
Two or more years of experience in QA of UAS
Experience with U.S. Air Force active duty maintenance experience on unmanned and fighter aircraft and ground systems
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products
