Senior UI developers are responsible for designing and developing world-class application user experiences within an Agile development process (via Scrum) and interacting with a global project team.
Responsibilities Include:
User Interface design, review, and UI standards enforcement across technologies within a product line
Convert business and system requirements into UI designs for yourself and others
Mockup new features and applications for collaborative review with stakeholders and developers
Mentor other developers on proper UI design via Flex
Investigate new UI technologies and recommend technical direction for UI technologies
Qualifications Include:
3 to 5 years of overall UI design, and 2 years of design and development of web-based applications
Experience with Java and/or ASP.Net preferred
Experience with Flash/Flex technologies a plus
Experience with the complete software development lifecycle with an agile methodology (preferably Scrum)
Experience with object-oriented design and analysis a plus
UI leadership experience and skills required
Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to author technical and application design documents
Experience collaborating with senior technical staff
Experience with and understanding of the importance of test-driven development with FlexUnit, JUnit, NUnit
Ability to integrate with 3 rd third party/open source products
Experience with Service-Oriented Architectures and use of web services
Familiarity with build and code generation tools (e.g. Maven, Ant, Visual Studio)
Experience working in a corporate, transaction based systems environment in either the financial, telecommunications or retail industries
Exposure to source code management tools like CVS, Subversion preferred
Experience with connectivity to large enterprise scale Oracle 9i/10g database systems
Education / Training / Experience:
Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
