Summary: Under the supervision of the Ultrasound Section Leader and the direction of a Radiologist, performs ultrasound procedures on newborn, infant, child, adult, and geriatric patients as requested by a physician. Responsible for providing on-call coverage.
Responsibilities: Upholds the standards set down by the RDMS regarding diagnostic procedures and professional ethics.
Qualifications: Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification required. 2-3 years hospital experience. Breast, obs., abd. ultrasound; vascular experience preferred. Must be able to work independently. Must participate in on call, w/e & holiday rotation. Must be able to handle multiple demands with ease.
