Performs quality sonographic examinations utilizing state of the art equipment, within the time constraints of the daily schedule. Exercises independent and professional judgment to produce quality studies and abides by the policies and procedures set forth by the department. Recognizes the patient’s condition, age, limitations and abilities, and acts accordingly to provide quality care.
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Technical training beyond high school; Associate’s degree preferred.
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification within 6 months of hire date required.
- Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications.
